Alloy USA 12142 Axle Kit OverviewsHigh tensile strength 4340 Chromoly is heat-treated, tempered and induction hardened to produce these heavy-duty axles that are up to 40% stronger than stock 1040 axles. Each axle shaft is backed by Alloy USA's exclusive ten-year warranty! We use the latest splining technology to produce splines that are stronger than traditional cut splines. The shafts are then precision CNC machined and magnaflux inspected for cracks before recieving a slick black anodized finish. Our front axle shaft kits include everything you need to complete the job: both passenger and drive side inner and outer axle shafts, seals, U-joints, and clips.

This kit will provide as close to a factory ride as you can get while providing off road articulation. Includes four powder coated, E-coated 5160H hot rolled bar, 5/8inch coil springs set to original factory rates. By using 5160H hot rolled bar, ORV springs keep their memory eliminating any possibility of future sag. ORV uses tough, over built extended control arms for added strength and higher performance. Each arm has a beefy 3/16 inch wall thickness and each end is tapered before welding: this extra heavy-duty design ensures a long life, both on and off road. In most cases control arms are longer than factory to adjust for caster. This is not always true for other brand lifts. Each arm bushing can be easily greased without removing the arm from the vehicle. Each 2inch Coil Spring Lift Kit includes 1inch transfer case lowering brackets. These are not spacers but full-length brackets that actually solidly secure your transfer case. ORV uses these brackets rather than spacers, as spacers can create flex and put undue stress on the drive line. Each 4 inch Coil Spring Lift Kit includes 1.5 inch transfer case lowering brackets. These are full length brackets that actually “trueinch your transfer case. ORV uses these brackets rather than spacers, as spacers can create flex therefore putting undue stress on the drive line. Kit includes two sway bar disconnects for more off road articulation. Due to the changed pinion angle, we highly recommend a new drive shaft and a slip yoke eliminator kit be installed when using any 4inch or greater lift kit on a 1997-2006 Wrangler/Unlimited. All 4inch Kits will require the purchase of a drop pitman arm to ensure proper steering geometry (sold separately). Four nitrogen-charged shock absorbers with self-adjusting valving included for a smoother ride on and off the road.
